Elijah's has been San Diego's favorite deli since 2001. From our famous overstuffed deli sandwiches piled high on fresh rye to our Sky High double-stacked creations, half-pound burgers, homemade soups, entrées with potato pancakes and garlic mashed potatoes, wraps, pastas and a full vegetarian menu — there's something for everyone at lunch and dinner. Elijah's serves the full lunch and dinner menu from open to close, every day of the week. Sandwiches, soups, salads, burgers, wraps and most items are available any time — no separate lunch or dinner hours. The one exception is the Roasted Half Chicken, served after 4pm. Walk-ins welcome; larger parties please call ahead.

What kind of sandwiches does Elijah's have?
We serve three tiers: Overstuffed Deli Sandwiches (hot pastrami, corned beef, brisket, roast beef, turkey, tuna, chicken salad and more from $15.95), Sky High Sandwiches (double-stacked New York deli classics at $24.95) and Sandwich Specialties like the Reuben, Philly Cheese Steak, BBQ Brisket and French Dip at $21.95. All come with a side.
Does Elijah's have vegetarian options?
Yes — we have a dedicated vegetarian section including the Veggie Reuben, Veggie Burger, Falafel Sandwich, Del Mar Classic, Mediterranean Pita, Portobello Mushroom Sandwich and Roasted Eggplant & Vegetable Sandwich. The Fettuccine Primavera and Vegetarian Blintzes are also meat-free.
What are the dinner entrées?
Dinner entrées include Roasted Half Chicken, Brisket of Beef, Sliced Turkey Breast, Stuffed Cabbage Rolls, Meatloaf, Liver and Onions, Salmon with Lemon Caper Sauce, Oven Baked Short Ribs and Elijah's Steak. All entrées come with potato pancake or garlic mashed and sautéed vegetables ($21.95–$28.95).
Is lunch served all day?
Yes — sandwiches, soups, salads, burgers, wraps and most items on this page are available from open to close, every day. The only exception is the Roasted Half Chicken (after 4pm). Everything else can be ordered any time during business hours.
Does Elijah's have burgers?
Absolutely. Our burger menu includes the Power Burger (half-pound), California Cheeseburger, Swiss Turkey Bacon Burger, Jalapeño Cancún Burger, Hawaiian Burger, Turkey Burger, Patty Melt and Burger Sliders. All served with fries, potato salad, pasta salad or cole slaw.
Can I get catering from the lunch and dinner menu?
Yes — Elijah's caters sandwich platters, deli trays, hot entrée buffets, salads and more across San Diego County. Visit our catering page or call (858) 353-5528 for a free quote. Setup, plates, napkins and utensils are included. Delivery is priced by drive time ($19.95 to $74.95), and online orders carry a 3% service fee.
